Evomon PvP Rankings & Matchup Methodology

This transparent methodology page answers the Evomon tier-list query by explaining how future PvP rankings can be tested and audited. It does not publish invented S, A, B, C, or D placements. All 76 current Dex entries remain Unranked — insufficient battle evidence.

Data checked: August 2, 2026.

What can be verified now

The planner can reproduce type interactions from one public Roonby community element chart. Record both Evomon, their documented types, the attacking type, and the resulting 2×, 0.5×, or immunity rule. Dual-type multipliers are multiplied, so 4× and 0.25× outcomes stay visible. Community-guide analysis based on one public Roonby Evomon element chart. It is not official or independently verified in game; use it for planning and verify important matchups yourself.

Proposed PvP ranking method

  1. Fix the context. Record game version, PvP mode, team size, level or scaling rules, and test date.
  2. Build a matchup set. Test each candidate against the same named opponents instead of selecting favorable clips.
  3. Record repeatable outcomes. Keep wins and losses, observed role, team partners, turn order, and evidence URL for every test.
  4. Separate facts from estimates. Type multipliers may explain a matchup, but they do not prove speed, damage, skill quality, usage, or overall win rate.
  5. Publish confidence. Show sample count and contradictory results; otherwise the candidate remains unranked.

Matchup scorecard

A future ranked row must show the Evomon name, tested PvP context, opponent set, wins and losses, sample count, relevant type interactions, evidence links, game version, test and review dates, and a confidence label. A tier letter without those fields is not accepted as evidence.

Current ranking status

No verified overall PvP order is available. The local Dex has identity, type, location, role, evolution, and occasional unsplit “community tier” fields, but those fields are not mode-specific PvP results. They are excluded from this method. Missing data is not scored as average or low performance.

How to check a matchup

  1. Open the type chart and note the community-reference multiplier.
  2. Add candidates to the Team Builder to inspect shared weaknesses and potential coverage.
  3. Verify the battle in the current game, then submit link-only evidence with version, mode, and test date.
